Deadly Night Shade

This is called Night Shade flowers, which grew wild in our garden, and they are poisonous. The kids know enough not to touch them, but just look. They grew along the fence in our backyard, and the color purple was deep and beautiful.

These pictures were taken after the rain, and there were just a few rain drops left on them. I like looking at them, and watch how they grew at each stage.

I am not a professional photographer, but I like to take pictures especially in macro mode. It seemed that I can see more details in my desire objects.

I love the green background in these photos, and the beautiful color purple flowers. If you want to see more pictures of Night Shade, there is a post on Wandering Thought.

Jumper on Red Flower

These flowers were from last year, growing in the container that kept on the side of my house. Though they were different from all other petals I had around, they quickly became my favorite because they continuously blooming.

All I had to do was to break off the dead ones, and soon after another group of flowers came in to replace them.

These flowers bloomed all the way in early winter, and attracted this baby grasshopper to them. I was late in buying flowers last year, and these were what my local garden shop had left.

I like this peachy color, and I may try to get some more of these flowers for the summer. They are annual flowers, and a tray of four little containers cost less than a dollar, so they are really a great investment for a whole summer of blooms.

Look at that little jumper's face! He was surprised to see me, but not shy at all. In fact, he was busy feeding, and didn't mind my intrusion on his meal time.

Today Flowers-Purple Petunia

This giant petunia stopped me right on track when I saw them last year outside a shopping strip. The deep color of this flower and its size were just amazing. Well, the lighting had a lot to do with bringing out its beautiful.

These beautiful purple petunia flowers were taken and found in a humongous pot outside of a shopping strip last year. They were very healthy looking and just gorgeous to see. I had a hard time walking by without stopping despite all the whining from the kids.

My mom loves these flowers, but not this particular color. She prefers vibrant color ones such as pink, red, and yellow. She has asked me to plant petunia flowers at my dad's grave during the summer, because they can tolerate direct sun ray, and they bloom continuously throughout the warm months we have in Michigan.

These two tones of purple color were my favorite to see. I love the delicate and thin petals on these petunias. Seeing flowers from my archives helps me thinking forward to spring. What about you?

Sky Watch--The Wonder Up High

Friday is here, and it is a day where we all feel a little relief for a week is done. The hustle and bustle of morning routines would temporary slowdown, at least for some. I like knowing that I don't have to rush, with a chance to sleep in.

I put together this collage of sky and the cloud to show you how beautiful our world is. The sky is constantly changing. Some time it is dramatic, some time it is romantic, and some time it is just softness.

This picture above was taken three years ago, from inside an airplane. Even above the cloud, the sky was still amazing.

I took these series of photos with my Nokia cell phone, and forgot all about them. We were on our way to California for a family reunion.

When I look out of the window of the airplane, I couldn't believe my eyes how the cloud looked from high up. It looked like mountains and valleys, not as soft like cotton candy that I used to think of.

For a cell phone camera, and from behind the glass, I think these pictures turned out great. We left pretty early on that day, the lighting was just perfect.

Enjoy other Sky Watch here.
